Review your copy of the citation for the Ordinance with which you have been charged. That chapter number should correspond with a specific fine amount plus applicable state and city costs. 

PLEASE NOTE ALL CRIMINAL CITATIONS REQUIRE AN APPEARANCE.

If the "Personal Appearance Required" block is checked "NO" on the citation, you may do one of the following PRIOR to the scheduled court date or you will be expected in court:

PAY ONLINE: Secure payments may be made using a debit or credit card here. Please note a convenience fee will apply.

PAY IN PERSON: You may pay your citation by cash or check 24/7 at the Police Dispatch Window on the 1st floor of the John Bryan Community Center. You may also pay the Clerk of Court on the 2nd floor Mondays and Fridays 1-5pm or Wednesdays 2:30-4:30. 

PAY BY MAIL: Make check or money order payable to the "Village of Yellow Springs" for the amount indicated on your citation or below and mail it to the address on the side of your screen. Please also enclose your signed citation.

If the NO block is checked under FINANCIAL RESPONSIBILITY PROOF SHOWN on the citation, you MUST provide proof of financial responsibility (this means insurance information) to the Clerk of Court when payment is made or at your court appearance. Failure to do so may result in the suspension of your license by the Ohio BMV.

COURT COSTS: +$80.00 to any violation if a court appearance is required or if you choose to appear in court and you are found "GUILTY". For example: If you were cited for Reasonable Control ($120) and wanted to contest the the charge, if you are found Guilty the total would be $200.
