The final version of the Greene County Master Trails Plan has been submitted and modified to meet Covid head-on. Through the collaboration with partners, as well as the community, this plan yields a bright and active future for the residents and visitors of Greene County.
The next step is for Regional Planning and Greene County Parks and Trails to hold a public hearing and then adopt the plan. The goal is to hold a public hearing with Regional Planning on April 27th.
The final steps include Regional Planning sending certified copies to the County Commissioners, Townships, along with our cities and villages to either adopt or offer a non-binding resolution of support. Once the adoption has been made, the document will be recorded.
This plan houses living documents that must be modified over time to meet changing circumstances.
