Since March 1987, both Congress and U.S. Presidents have designated the month as Women's History Month. In our Yellow Springs community, women have made and continue to make substantial contributions to the culture and the voice of our Village.
In 2018, an amazing project featuring "Influential Women of Yellow Springs" was funded through a grant from
The Yellow Springs Community Foundation - produced by 59 high school students of Yellow Springs Schools. Through collaborative editing by the Yellow Springs News, this project was published to coincide with #WomensHistoryMonth in March 2019.
