Kent Bristol, Interim Village Manager
Lori J. Askeland
Judy Kintner, Clerk of Council
An active, vocal citizenry and a responsive governing body and administration are the hallmarks of government in Yellow Springs.
The Village's governing body is a nonpartisan, five-member Village Council. Three of the five members are elected every two years, in the November general election in odd-numbered years. The two candidates receiving the most votes are elected to four-year terms, and the candidate with the third highest total receives a two-year term.
The chief administrative officer of the Village is the Village Manager, who is hired by the Council to supervise the day-to-day activities of the Village.
