Water/Wastewater Treatment Plant Superintendent. 

The Village of Yellow Springs seeks a full-time Water/Wastewater Treatment Plant Superintendent. The Primary responsibility of the Superintendent is to direct water plant and water reclamation plant operations and facilities for the Village of Yellow Springs. Applicants must have a High School Diploma or GED certification, Water Treatment License Class I Operator and Wastewater Treatment License Class II Operator plus a minimum of five (5) years experience.

Village Council Clerk's Assistant

The Village Council Clerk’s Assistant works an 8-10 hour week during normal business hours and will include every Friday from 10-2. This position occasionally covers for staff who are on vacation and may be needed a maximum of 24 hours in those cases. Council Clerk supervises this position.  The Assistant is responsible for filing all incoming documents, assembling public records requests, assembling packets, checking files for accuracy and proper signatures, maintaining accurate indexes for ordinances and organization of files, updating codified ordinance books annually, and other duties as assigned.

The Clerk’s Assistant is expected to maintain a high degree of confidentiality regarding every aspect of office procedures, interactions and communications.  The classification for the Assistant is “As-Needed” and this is an at-will position with wage-only compensation of   $13/hour.   Applicants will have a high school diploma or GED and will be subject to background check and drug testing.
