The Personnel Department provides a variety of human resource services for the Village of Yellow Springs' diverse workforce. We do this so that employees are managed fairly, are well-trained, supported, and assigned job duties to accomplish Village business goals in a cost-effective, efficient and safe manner. Along with human resource services, we also provide human resource tools, expert assistance and information.

Utility Service Worker - Seasonal

The Village of Yellow  Springs seeks (2) part-time  Seasonal Utility Service  Workers. These are part-time  (20 or more hours per week) positions expected to last at least six (6) months. Primary responsibilities will include performing a variety of semi-skilled and skilled labor tasks in the recurring maintenance, installation and repair work of the street, storm water,  sanitary sewer, parks and facilities functions of the Public Works Department. Operate light to heavy equipment in performing assigned duties. Training and/or experience that evidences basic knowledge of general maintenance and repair work needed. A HS diploma or GED is required. Must possess a valid driver’s license. A Class B CDL is preferred, but not required.
