The Personnel Department provides a variety of human resource services for the Village of Yellow Springs' diverse workforce. We do this so that employees are managed fairly, are well-trained, supported, and assigned job duties to accomplish Village business goals in a cost-effective, efficient and safe manner. Along with human resource services, we also provide human resource tools, expert assistance and information.

Utility Service Worker

The Village of Yellow Springs seeks a full-time Utility Service Worker. Primary responsibilities will include performing a variety of semi-skilled and skilled labor tasks in maintaining public streets, storm and sanitary systems, and Village properties and operating light to heavy equipment.  Must have training and/or experience that evidences basic knowledge of general maintenance and repair work needed. A current OEPA Wastewater Collection license is preferred or must be obtained within 18 months from date of hire as a condition of employment.  A HS diploma or GED as well as a valid driver’s license are also required.  A Class B CDL is preferred, but not required. Starting pay range is $14.23-16.47 DOQ.
