Welcome to the Village of Yellow Springs Finance Department 

The Village of Yellow Springs Finance Department provides accounting and financial management in support of all Village operations. This department is responsible for various financial functions including:

  • Accounts Payable
  • Accounts Receivable
  • Payroll
  • Utility Billing
  • Budget planning and preparation

The Finance Department is headed by Melissa Vanzant who is the full time Assistant Village Manager/Finance Director that oversees the daily operations of the department.  The department is also composed of a full time Accounts Payable/Payroll Technician, and two full time Utility Billing Clerks.
