Old Water Treatment Plant
The Village is proud to own and operate their own municipal water treatment plant. The plant is operated by Superintendent Brad Ault along with operators Kevin Martin, Jeff Horn and Dale Fisher. Located in Xenia Township, the plant produces and treats groundwater that is distributed to the entire Village.
In 2011 the discussion began to address our current aging water plant that is over 50 years old. The decision was made to build a new water plant in early 2016. The new design-build plant was completed and put in service December of 2017. This new plant removes iron and Manganese, as well as softens our water. We are very pleased with the performance of the new water plant and the improved water quality for the entire Village.
