Village Council Notes

May 5th, 2008

Council will begin the process of evaluating the proposal from Friends Care Community multi-family housing unit at 321 Xenia Avenue, the property commonly known as the Barr Property.  This will be the first reading of the Ordinance. Given the significance of this proposal, Council will be having a presentation from the applicant on the proposal and from Village staff. Another detailed review of the proposal will take place at a second reading of the proposal on June 2nd.

Other items on the agenda are discussions on hiring a planner and on the visioning process. Legislation will include a video services ordinance, authorization of the village manager on implementaion of our sidewalk ordinance, transfers from the general fund to other funds, liquor license renewals, and the economic development revolving fund.
