MINUTES - SPECIAL MEETING

At Miami Township Office, Corry St. January 31, 2005

CALL TO ORDER

President Tony Arnett called the meeting to order at 7:00 pm.

ROLL CALL

Tony Arnett, Denise Swinger, Jocelyn Hardman and George Pitstick were present as was the Village Manager Rob Hillard. Mary Alexander was absent.

Others present: Miami Township Trustees Mark Crockett, Chris Mucher, Lamar Spracklen and Trustee Clerk Margaret Silliman.

AGENDA ITEM

Discussion with Miami Township Trustees: The Council discussed with the Trustees a variety of issues, to provide updates on the Center for Business and Education, the Urban Service Boundaries and other issues. The Trustees then requested an Executive Session to discuss the purchase of property.

EXECUTIVE SESSION

Swinger MOVED and Pitstick SECONDED a MOTION to enter into Executive Session to discuss the purchase of property in accordance with the Ohio Revised Code #121.22(G)(2). The MOTION PASSED UNANIMOUSLY.

Swinger MOVED and Pitstick SECONDED a MOTION to return to the General Session. The MOTION PASSED UNANIMOUSLY.

ADJOURNMENT

Having no further business, Swinger MOVED and Hardman SECONDED a MOTION to ADJOURN. The MOTION PASSED UNANIMOUSLY at 8:21 pm.
