SPECIAL MEETING MINUTES

IN Council Chambers @ 1:00 p.m. December 11, 2005

CALL TO ORDER
President Jocelyn Hardman called the meeting to order at 1:00 p.m.

ROLL CALL
Jocelyn Hardman, Karen Wintrow, and Bruce Rickenbach were present. Kathryn Chase arrived at 1:10 p.m. Judith Hempfling was absent. Also in attendance was Eric Swansen.

AGENDA ITEM: Village Manager Employment Agreement negotiations.

EXECUTIVE SESSION
Rickenbach MOVED and Wintrow SECONDED a MOTION to go into Executive Session Executive Session forPersonnel-Employment in accordance with the Ohio Revised Code #121.22 (G)(1). The MOTION PASSED. Eric Swansen attended the Executive Session.

GENERAL SESSION
RickenbachMOVED and Wintrow SECONDED a MOTION to go return to the General Session. The MOTION PASSED at 2:10 p.m. Council members agreed to move forward with an employment agreement with Eric Swansen for the position of Village Manager. The MOTION PASSED.

ADJOURNMENT
Having no further business, Rickenbach MOVED and Chase SECONDED a MOTION to ADJOURN. The MOTION PASSED at 2:15 p.m.
