In September 2002, Village Council appointed a Blue Ribbon Finance Committee to conduct a comprehensive review of the current Village budget, prepare a 5 year budget projection, and list options to close any gaps shown in the projection. This letter from Tony Arnett, Council President, details the committee's charge.

In January, 2003, the committee delivered its report back to Council. An overview of each area of the budget, along with options to close the gap between expenses and revenue, is contained in the report. The report does not recommend certain options over others, but instead lists ALL options the committee identified. Village Council must decide which options to pursue based upon the needs of the community.
