NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
Notice is hereby given that the Planning Commission has recommended an amendment to the Zoning Code for the following purposes:
- Chapter 1256 Central Business District
- Allow lots larger than 8,000 square feet, buildings larger than 5,000 square feet and buildings higher than 35 feet as Conditional Uses
- Eliminate minimum lot area and width requirements
- Reduce off-street parking requirements
- Chapter 1260 Light Industrial District
- Allow limited retail sales of goods produced on-site as a Conditional Use
- Chapter 1268 Off-Street Parking
- Compliment and cross-reference proposed changes in Chapter 1256 & 1272
- Chapter 1272 Conditional Uses
- Modify standards for Conditional Uses in the Central Business District
- Chapter 1276 Signs
- Modify the maximum size limitation for wall signs in the Central Business District
- Allow roof signs in limited circumstances
Council has prepared legislation to enact those recommendations.

This notice provides you and every other interested party the opportunity to appear or have input at the hearing. You may come in person or have someone appear on your behalf. You may express your views in writing by providing a copy to the Clerk of Council for inclusion in the record of the hearing. The draft regulation may be examined at the office of the Clerk of Council or the office of the Village Planner, Second Floor, Bryan Community Center , 100 Dayton Street , Yellow Springs , Ohio .
